Pinkberry BOGO

So last night I went on a movie date with my mommy! :) We saw Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. The book was SUPERB so I was pretty excited to watch the movie. We had 5 minutes before the movie start, but we still wanted to get Pinkberry first. We haven't even bought our ticket yet...but what the hey, it's Monday night, probably not going to be busy. Yes, this is how Asians reason with our time, hence we always end up being late, hence the well known term "Asian time".

Anywho, I only need 1 more stamp on my Pinkberry stamp card till my free yogurt so we decided to use it up. But the (awesome?) lady that helped us, charged us for 1 small yogurt (instead of 2) AND she gave me back my stamp card...which means I get another free one next time!!! Wahooo.

Actually, this have been happening to me a lot lately. I go to restaurants and the waiter/ owner doesn't charge me for my meal, or I walk out of the restaurant forgetting to pay for my meal and not being stopped for it, or getting something for free for no apparent reason....and it's been happening A LOT lately. I mean, I feel bad and I would often wonder...what is the right thing to do? Should I say something? But it's not my fault that they didn't charge me, right? All the times that this has happened to me, I never say anything and happily accepts. I dont think Jesus would do that tho...hmm...maybe I'll do something about it next time.

Summer FUN!

Summer is here! Better late than never! :)

Here are some ideas for you to do this summer. For FREE/ really cheap! Get out and enjoy the sun! and each other!

1) Go chill in the park. Explore, explore, explore! Plan a family picnic. Lay on the grass. Read a good book. Play on the swings and be a kid again!

2) Swim! My house has a swimming pool. I went swimming this past weekend and got a shade darker. Invite your friends and family to swim either at your house or at your community pool! Don't forget the sunscreen!

3) Visit the library. I LOVE the library. Free air conditioner dudes! :) And a lot of neat books and free movies to check out!

4) Go for a hike! One of my favorite activities! I like checking out new hiking trails and enjoy the beautiful nature.

5) Indoor activities. Endless. Watch a movie (you can rent from the library), play board games, play starcraft (YEAHHH!!!) or other online games, grub, learn to cook, sleep! Endless I tell you.

6) Outdoor activities. Some require money, but you can find free museum days in your area. Play a sport, attend free community workout class, watch the sun rise/ sun set, go to the beach, have a picnic, go to a farmer's market/ county fairs, volunteer!!

All fun activities. You just have to get out. Have a great and fun (and cheap!) summer!
