So last night I went on a movie date with my mommy! :) We saw Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. The book was SUPERB so I was pretty excited to watch the movie. We had 5 minutes before the movie start, but we still wanted to get Pinkberry first. We haven't even bought our ticket yet...but what the hey, it's Monday night, probably not going to be busy. Yes, this is how Asians reason with our time, hence we always end up being late, hence the well known term "Asian time".
Anywho, I only need 1 more stamp on my Pinkberry stamp card till my free yogurt so we decided to use it up. But the (awesome?) lady that helped us, charged us for 1 small yogurt (instead of 2) AND she gave me back my stamp card...which means I get another free one next time!!! Wahooo.
Actually, this have been happening to me a lot lately. I go to restaurants and the waiter/ owner doesn't charge me for my meal, or I walk out of the restaurant forgetting to pay for my meal and not being stopped for it, or getting something for free for no apparent reason....and it's been happening A LOT lately. I mean, I feel bad and I would often wonder...what is the right thing to do? Should I say something? But it's not my fault that they didn't charge me, right? All the times that this has happened to me, I never say anything and happily accepts. I dont think Jesus would do that tho...hmm...maybe I'll do something about it next time.
