I LOVE whitewater rafting. It's so much fun! The first time I went was during the summer. So the water was really calm and it was really peaceful and relaxing. I went with a bunch of church friends and our pastor flipped over because we kept on splashing water at him and he lost his balance. It was really funny (but sad at the same time hehe). The second time I went was during the late winter. It was raining really hard and the water was so rough that our boat flipped over! I was able to hang on to a branch and swam to the nearest boat but some friends wasn't able to and the current was taking them further and further away. It was scary but definitely memorable!! Thank God another boat was able to catch up and rescue them! It felt so good to be alive! Then, the last time I went rafting was when I was in Bali a couple of years ago. We went on a cheapo tour and so it was expected to be shady but I didn't realize to what extent until we actually got there. Our boat had a huge hole and the guide literally took a duck tape and taped over it...right in front of our eyes!! He was kinda a perv too. The water was not white/ clear/ clean but the rapid was surprisingly awesome in Bali!!
